Chatarina Schneider is Chair of enginzyme's board. She has more than 25 years of international sales experience in the chemical industry, rising from sales manager to global marketing director of AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry. In subsequent CEO roles and as a board member or chair, Chatarina has helped lead several companies through scale-up to international commercialization.

Michael is a Partner at Sofinnova Partners with 20+ years of experience in the biotech industry. Before joining Sofinnova, Michael spent six years in industrial biotech start-ups, in senior business development roles. He also worked in a consulting firm advising companies on strategic R&D and organizational issues. He is an engineer who graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and holds a PhD in organic chemistry from Paris X Orsay University.

Martin has a background from McKinsey and is a serial entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience in growth investments. He co-founded Vitamin Well and Unifaun and has over the last 15 years invested in 20+ growth companies across the world, including two current unicorns. He holds a Master from Stockholm School of Economics and a CEMS Master from Vienna University.

Alex is an investment manager at Navigare Ventures and is active over a broad range of deep tech areas, primarily in the intersection of engineering and biology. He has gained his transaction experience from Industrifonden, a multi-stage venture capital fund, and from Alder, a sustainability-focused investment firm. He holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.

Patrik is a Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden focuses on Deep Tech technologies solving challenges in climate and health. Prior to joining Industrifonden, Patrik held the position as business franchise leader with IMS Health responsible for data and technology business in Europe, Asia and Africa including responsibility for M&A. He has a seriel entrepreneurial background and been part of building and scaling two tech companies in the healthcare industry that both were successfully exited to US buyers (United Health Group and IMS Health). Prior to that he held international R&D and commercial leadership roles with BigPharma companies in Glaxo Smith Kline and AstraZeneca. Patrik holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, a Master in international management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) and a PhD in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet. He currently holds an Associate Professorship in health economics and epidemiology with Karolinska Institutet and has published research in over 40 international peer-reviewed journals.
